SUPPORTIVE BELAY’S FOR UNSURE KIDS (A PARENTS GUIDE)

with Nikki McGee & Zach Kohler: Nikki and Zach are the directors of Elevated Mountain Guides, a 501c3 nonprofit helping underserved communities access outdoor recreation, using climbing as the main modality. Through their years of teaching and guiding, they have developed several tips and tricks to help our younger "not-climbers-yet" become more confident and trusting on the wall, and look forward to sharing some of those techniques with you! This is a clinic for adults but we welcome all ages. This clinic will show you how to meet your kids where they are, support them physically and emotionally, and help them find their own love of climbing. Must bring a belay device. Skill level: A basic climbing understanding and ability to belay. 6 ppl max; $45.
