RAB & MARCUS GARCIA CLIMBING: GYM TO CRAG TRANSITION

with Marcus Garcia: Gym climbing has grown over the years. Gym climbers are wanting to get outside and see just what they can climb outside. But climbing outside involves more skills set that typical gym climbing will not offer. This clinic teaches the basic skill to make that transition. You will learn: Site management, transition from lead climbing to setting up a top rope, cleaning bolted anchors, route reading and understanding route description, and how to approach a lead climb or set up a top rope with bolted anchors. Required gear: personal climbing gear, shoes, helmet, harness belay devices. Skill level: any. 6 ppl max; $45.
